The History
The History of Shasta RVs goes back to 1941 when the founder Robert Gray started manufacturing rugged and comfortable travel trailers as mobile housing for the military in Los Angeles, CA. After WWII ended, many GIs continued to use these models for recreational ventures with their families.
Around 1952, the company was renamed Shasta, and they moved the production to a new production facility in Van Nuys, CA. They continued to write one success story after another and quickly opened a second factory in Goshen, IN. The homey feels of these campers, modern and plush amenities, and a choice of various floorplans make them one of the most preferred recreational vehicles. Today, as a division of Forest River Inc., the brand produces travel trailers and fifth-wheel campers for present-day travelers.
The Models
As stated earlier, Shasta RVs offer a wide range of floorplans, ranging from compact models to bigger bunkhouses and toy haulers.
If you want extra storage space and sleeping berths for up to eight members, a Shasta RV travel trailer will be an ideal option for you. These lightweight models feature various floorplans, tons of storage areas, and user-friendly amenities for vacationing in style.
On the other hand, if you want a more stable and versatile RV, you can choose a Shasta fifth-wheel RV. These elegant campers come outfitted with features, including Carefree flooring, high-quality residential furniture, and plenty of slide-out walls to create extra room for your family.
